Full red cloth lettered in gilt at spine; spine slightly shelf cocked. Publisher's red top stain a little dimmed and faded; small remainder mark bottom edge. Dust jacket toned at spine, less so to cover panels. Jacket shelf rubbed with several short closed tears at edges. A prior owner or dealer has mended tow of the longer tears with archival paper tape on the reverse surface of the jacket. Jacket flaps are toned. Doctorow disallowed republication and this book is his hardest to find in the markjet. This copy flawed but still decent. VG-/G++ .
