All five volumes about fine, with one notable exception: The foldout image on page 65 of Volume IV was cut, such that a 2" x 12" separate piece is laid-in. This set of five volumes belonged to noted Filipino-American abstract expressionist painter Alfonso Ossoirio. Volumes 1-3 bear his bold SIGNATURE, and a blank stiff leaf before Volume 1 has his full signed name, taking up the entire page. While bound uncharacteristically in half-buckram and cloth boards and thus externally unremarkable, this is a wonderful association copy, linking the abstract painter to the beat movement.
