New York: McGraw Hill, 1988. Signed (first name only) and inscribed by author on fep. First Edition with full numberline. 343 pages plus three sections of black and white photographs on glossy stock. Color photo illustrates front of dust jacket while back of dust jacket is a collection of black and white photographs. From jacket: "Larry Bird, the basketball superstar, is considered by may to be the best player in the history of the game... (This book) chronicles the remarkable rags-to-riches story of one Larry Joe Bird, the basketball phenomenon from a small community in southern Indiana. Rising to statewide prominence in high school...enrolling at Indiana State University, Bird led a Cinderella team to the Final Four...but it has been in his years with the Boston Celtics...that the basketball genius of Larry Bird has come into his own." There is a waterstain to top inside center of the dust jacket, with some green ink bleed (from the green boards) to the top inside corner of inside covers and endpapers. This does not appear on the pages. Bumped head and heel of spine. Chipped top of jacket spine. An errata tucket into inside back cover is lightly tanned and there has been some ink transfer to rear endpage.. Signed by Author. First. Hard Cover. Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Refund of the purchase price minus a 25% restocking fee will be issued upon receipt of the item in as sold condition. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.
