Unclipped jacket. Panels and spine has moderate edgewear with chips, tears and creasing. Moderate tanning to panels and spine.

Unclipped jacket has heavy edge wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Scuffing and light marking overall.

Barnes from the three-volume work by T.A. Coward (1867-1933), which has become one of the great classics of ornithological literature," 359 pages, many color plates .

Mottled cut edges; the top edge is also tanned. Very good text bock, firm, square and unmarked - excellent for age. With 213 coloured illustrations by Archibald Thorburn and others and 69 photographic illustrations by E.L. Turner, R. Kearton and others. Hal title page has name of previous owner in pencil. No jacket.
