Unpaginated folio construct, plenty of well-reproduced color plates covered in black, a kind of pop-up book with flaps to lift that reveal bird images in color to handsome effect. A central panel shows eggs (to size), lift the egg to see bird & read text. Manufactured in China, that's how! First published in France as Oxiseau [sic]. Hardbound in 15x11 inch boards, our exemplar is a tad edgeworn with a faint bump to head, absolutely clean and unmarked within, hinges quite sound, a very good copy.
