London: H.F. & G. Witherby, 1927. Hardcover. Good. Hardcover. Quarto. Two volumes of a five volume set. Volume I: The Commoner Birds. 329pp. 25 full page plates in colour: Volume II: The Birds of the Hill Stations. 310pp. 25 full page plate in colour. T.E.G. Covers have fading at edges and spine ends, which are a little frayed. Volume II has some water damage in bottom edge, not effecting any of the pages and a crack to binding, but not at the hinge. Endpapers are browned from off-setting. Toning and a few spots on fore-edges. Though a bit worn, a very nice production.
