Raleigh, NC: Bynum Printing Company, 1942. First Edition First Printing . Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. Rex Brasher; Robert Bruce Horsfall; Roger Tory Peterson. 8vo. 416 pages, indexed. Hardcover bound in blue cloth. The binding shows moderate wear. There is a scuff mark along the spine near the foot of the spine. Prior owner's ink inscription on the front flyleaf. The inner gutter between the second front flyleaf and half title is cracking. There is also cracking to the gutter between the two blank end papers at the rear of the book. The rest of the text block is sound and generally clean.

Raleigh: Bynum Printing Compan, 1942. Revised Edition. Hardcover. very good /fair. 416pp, large 8vo. Illustrated. A very good copy in a fair jacket. Bound in dark green cloth boards, gilt title on spine and front board. Previous owner's name penned on first free end paper. Minor wear to extremities. Rear jacket panel and lower half of spine are detached but present. Jacket is soiled, large ink stain on rear panel, faint moisture stains on rear panel and spine, chipping and closed tears along edges. Asheville Arcjhitect Anthony Lord's copy with his ownership signature. Lord 1900-1993 was an important architect from the region.
