About This Item

England: Alex Scott Publications, 1977 Book. Mint. Soft cover. 1st Edition. First performed in 1970, published in 1977, and winner of several stages of the All-England Drama Festival in the 1980s, and winner of "one-act play" in the Welsh National Eisteddfod in Bala. The action takes place pre-history in the Celestial Patents Office where God tries to obtain patents on his latest string of inventions, culminating in his higheest achievements of all - a beautiful Eve, but a badly shop-soiled Adam. God's attempts to explain Birth, Death and Reproduction are fraught with difficulties when confronted by the three Spirits whose understanding of the universe begins and ends with Stars and Planets. Part of the trilogy of one act plays "Three Origins of Man" - the other two being "Homo Sapiens" and "Laughing Fever". Festival-winning one-act comedy play by the author of the popular Naitabal mystery series, wraps, Fine.
