Based on the 1936 novel by William Edward Haynes. The second installment of the Universal Crime Club mysteries. A man finds a black doll after murdering his business partner and is then later murdered himself. A detective tries to solves the mystery with multiple suspects.

White self-wrappers, with credits for director Otis Garrett. 106 leaves, with last page of text numbered 15. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine, bound with two gold brads along the top edge.
