Bound volume, Number 32. Bound in half leather and marbled boards. Published in Edinburgh at no. 17, Prince’s Street, 1832. Part of a long run of bound volumes of Blackwood's Magazine (about 40 years worth, 6 months) which was stored on the same shelves, in the same position for over a century. Volumes are generally sound, square and tight, 3/4 leather with marbled boards, no mildew, mild age toning and occasional foxing. The leather on many of the volumes is somewhat peeling/flaking....mainly just a surface layer of the leather, not the entire thickness of the spine. The leather has been professionally treated and conserved. The books each measure approximately 6 by 9 inches. The bindings are tight and sound. This volume contains 1014 pages including index. Each contents page of the volume (each month) has been photographed. Please see photos.
