A woman comes to a Vietnam vet turned private investigator to learn the truth about her dead fiance, who she still believes is alive. Both are Irish and are led on a long road of Irish organizations, some fighting for a United Ireland, some old blood from the motherland, some born in America and only know Ireland as an ideal, classic Irish cops, some gangsters who identify with Irish liberation and some gangsters who know no loyalties. All come together to work against this private investigator who has bitten off more than he can chew.

Set in Los Angeles.
