Baltimore: privately printed for a few friends, 1884. Square 18mo, pp. 42, [2]; removed from binding, uncut and unopened, minor soiling to cover page, text clean and sound. A recounting of how the libraries and manuscripts of Bluntschli, Lieber and Laboulaye were brought together at John Hopkins University. Together the three men are credited with developing one of the first codes of international law and war. Attributed to Gilman in OCLC.
