The Bobbsey Twins At Meadow Brook

by Hope, Laura Lee

Condition: Good in Good dust jacket

United Kingdom: World Distributors. Good in Good dust jacket. 1958. Reprint. Hardcover. A very good 1958 UK World Distributors reprint hardcover (dustwrapper lists to #24 Pony Trail) in clean brown boards illustrated with pictures of the twins and a dog which is bumped to the spine ends, sharp rubbed corners, the front endpaper is clipped to the head (presumably to remove a name), toned pages tanned to the text-block edges in a good bright unclipped dustwrapper which is creased to the edges with small chips and several small closed tears - supplied in a new removable archival sleeve and presenting well. Carefully packaged and posted within 48 hours from our bookshop in Scotland. .

From the book:Well, here we are back home again! exclaimed Nan Bobbsey, as she sat down in a chair on the porch. "Oh, but we have had such a good time!" "The best ever!" exclaimed her brother Bert, as he set down the valise he had been carrying, and walked back to the front gate to take a small satchel from his mother. "I'm going to carry mine! I want to carry mine all the way!" cried little fat Freddie Bobbsey, thinking perhaps his bigger brother might want to take, too, his bundle. "All right, you can carry your own, Freddie," said Bert, pleasantly. "But it's pretty heavy for you."
