Duckworth, London., 1910. First edition. Royal octavo. pp [viii], 130. Twelve plates by Rackham. This fairy story had first appeared in Little Folks magazine in 1900 with the illustrations in black and white. Here six of them have been coloured by Harry Rountree. Original brown cloth, titles in black, colour plate mounted on front.Contemporary (1912) gift inscription on front free endpapers. Free endpapers a bit tanned. Tail of spine slightly scuffed. Near fine. No dustwrapper. One of the more uncommon Rackham titles.
