Philadelphia: Printed by Hall and Sellers, 1791. Second printing. Leather Bound. Very Good +. 4 x 6 inches. Collates as a - c (6 leaf quires) + A - Uu (6 leaf quires) + 2 rfep. Bb2 and title page supplied in facsimile. Loss to outer margin of Uu6 affecting text. Closed tears to B1, B2, B3, Bb3, and Bb4 with no loss of text. Scattered light soiling and age toning. Griffiths 1791/18. Bound in contemporary full brown calf with four raised bands to spine and remnants of gilt rules. Cover lightly worn and corners rounded. Chipping to tail of spine. Front hinge professionally repaired with Japanese tissue. A very good copy of this scarce printing of the American BCP. It is the second printing of the BCP in America, and one of only two editions before the addition of the Ordinal in 1792.
