About This Item

Eyre and Spottiswoode, 1854. Original dark brown hardback cover. Cover is slightly scuffed on the corners and edges, with further signs of wear on the faces. The backstrip is also scuffed along the top, bottom and the edges. The pageblock remains intact, but the binding is loose in places, with one section in particular close to falling out. Some of the leaves in the pageblock and the edges of it are foxed, and the pageblock has all edges gilt. The text is in fair condition, with no markings or annotations within the text. The leaves are only slightly browned with age near the edges.This book has hardback covers. Ex-library, With usual stamps and markings, In poor condition, suitable as a reading copy. No dust jacket.
