Book has clean covers and pages along with a tight binding. Rubbing to top and bottom edges and wear at the corners. The jacket is bright with chipping at spine ends and corners with edgewear. Somewhat dirty on edges and worn at corners but not bad. Inside, decorative end pages are clean and free from any previous owner names or marks. Full color frontispiece illustration is awesome! line drawing illustrations in brown throughout plus five more full color, full page illustrations. Book is sturdy and square, binding good, hinges solid. Nice example of collectible children's book.
