Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott, 1864 840pp. Bound is three-quarter leather and has marbled endpapers. Gilt design along the leather. Spine has gilt lettering and five raised spine bands. Front cover is detached. Spine head is mostly missing down to the first band. Small to medium pieces are missing from the spine elsewhere as well. Leather spine is cracking. Top third of the rear board is sun fades. Rear board has light stains. Top tip of front board. Endpapers have light foxing. Pages have light toning. Edges of text block have dust staining.. Later Printing. Three-Quarter Leather. Poor/No Dust Jacket.
