Birmingham: Birmingham School of Printing, 1934. First edition. Stiff card wraps. Very good. 4to. (43),(1)pp. Finely printed in black, red and blue under the direction of Leonard Jay at the City of Birmingham School of Printing. Printed by students in the Letterpress Machine classes. Set in Garamond. Illustrated with wood engravings by Ivy Ellis, Winifred Hobday, Madeline Rose, Rose Thornton; shields cut by Evelyn Hill and Stanley Dennis. Printed in black, red and light blue. The woodcuts are full page plates. In the original decorated paper wraps. <br/> <br/> Number of copies produced is unknown but probably less than 100. Wallis mentions runs of 65 copies for later endeavors. <br/> <br/>Cover soiled along top, yapp edges show wear at folds, spine has small spots of wear, else very good and with a fine text block.
