London, U.K.: Thomas Nelson & Sons. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Near Fine Volume in a Very Good Dust Jacket. No date, c. 1920s. Top edge gilt, still bright. Title page has a few tiny spots of foxing as does the closed page edges; does not detract from this beautiful volume. Author was a famous British naturalist and ornithologist. Blue cloth with gilt titles. No illustrations. Blank front free end-paper has small neat (3) initials of previous owner. No other markings. Rear panel of Dust jacket has a list of publishers other titles. White jacket is creased with small edge chips, none impacting title or text. One approx. 1-1/2" closed tear to front panel jacket. 282 pages (including index), plus several pages of adverts at rear. Great Copy. Mylar protected jacket.
