London: John Henry Parker, 1849. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 8vo. pp. 31; [3] + 112 hand-coloured plates with tissue guards 103-107. Original red cloth binding with gilt lettering and decoration to the spine, blind stamped decoration to the boards, carefully rebacked with the original spine laid on, a little general wear and rubbing. Contents clean and tight, replacement front end paper, no inscriptions; plates 103-107 with small chip to top blank margins, letterpress and plates clean without foxing. A very good copy. Scarce..
