Edinburgh: The Spalding Club, 1859 Green cloth worn, marked and sunned, with a gold motif of The Spalding Club to the front board and blind-stamped to the back; spine re-backed, yellow eps, inner hinge strengthened, occasional foxing throughout and some grubby marks, many pages unopened, tissue-guarded frontis (Cawdor from the South), fold-out genealogies etc, sound, good. A heavy book.
