Hove, Frederick Hendrick van. Octavo; [8], 81, [7], 90 pp.; portrait frontispiece of Charles II opposite title-page of part 1, folding map of Worcester and folding map of Boscobel bound between A3 and A4, plate of coat of arms at p.76 (slightly cropped at fore-edge), three separate title pages to first and second parts of Boscobel and Claustrum regale, first title page printed in red and black, additional engraved title-page to Claustrum regale bound opposite frontispiece. In recent full period style panelled leather, spine with five raised bands and gilt lettered black morocco spine label to second compartment, all page edges gilt, with recent endpapers in matching period paper. A delightfully clean fresh copy, complete in every respect, with intact and unrepaired folding plates. A near-fine example. ESTC R4207.
