London: James Ridgway, 1819. First edition. Hardcover. Very good. Tall 8vo. Unpaginated; comprises folia 351-435 inclusive, followed by notes and index to vols. 1 through 5. Contemporary half leather, spine titled and ruled in gilt, marbled paper boards and endpapers. The 48 folia are each accompanied by a handcolored illustration, many of which are folding. Although too early for New World orchids, there are still three species of orchid illustrated, as well as a camellia and a protea. The binding is rubbed at edges and hinges else is in very good condition the text block with its illustrations are in near fine condition.
