Jacket has one short and discreet archivally-closed tear at lower right of front panel, else bright and lovely. Handsome, fresh first edition of the first of Ludlum's five Bourne spy thrillers that have resulted in as many feature films. Ludlum (1927-2001) signs the front flyleaf large and bold in blue fineline. Laid in is Kroch's & Brentano's "First Edition Circle" bookmark. A choice copy and seldom seen signed.
