A clean copy - the only marking a bookseller label (from Amarillo, Tx) on front pasted endpaper. Pages fresh and clean, bound in green cloth hardcover with illustrated color paste-down (the Spirit of St. Louis over the ocean waves) within gilt rules on front cover, spine gilt lettered. Cover is clean, the paste down slightly rubbed but clean and bright. Spine ends and corners are rubbed with some board showing and slight fray to cloth. Binding intact - the hinges a bit loose but intact, no tears of breaks to hinges. Illustrated with 31 pages, including frontis page, of vintage photos plus several B&W drawings and maps in text. 6 x 8-1/2"; 288 pages plus photos. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo.
