Dark blue cloth covers, bumping to spine head and foot, moderate edge- and shelf-wear, rubbing of gilt lettering to spine, some foxing to endpapers, else a structurally sound, clean and unmarked biography of the famous composer, complete with frontis portrait thereof, protected by tissue guard. xi + 263 pp + 35 pp. catalogue, and then another dozen plate illustrations. Includes list of compositions and first line and title of vocal compositions. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
