Number 518 of 735 of this limited "Regular Edition". The 21st in the series of "Brand Books", as issued by the Denver Posse of The Westerners group. These books consist of historical vignettes, biographical profiles and other historical stories from somewhere in the American West. This 1965 version includes a story about gemstones in the West, Hispanic customs in the Southwest, The Killing of Wild Bill Hickok by Earl Scott and other topics. The stories are accompanied by lots of black & white photos and drawings by Raul Rossell. Edited by Arthur L. Campa. --- In dark green cloth-covered boards with titling and illustrations in orange on cover and spine. Dust jacket in orange, with Rossell drawings on front. --- A clean, bright, firmly bound copy lacking damages worthy of mention. Dust jacket with creasing and a few small tears along edges; otherwise bright, intact and protected in removable mylar wrapper.; Tall Octavo (9 to 10 in. tall); (16), 411 pages .
