Signed by the author on the front endpaper, along with signatures by Tommy Holmes and Jim Russell of the great 1948 team. Octavo, 8" tall, 224 pages, blue cloth with gilt titles on spine. A very good, clean, neat hardcover first edition with light shelf wear and rubbing and slight bumpingat the fore-tips; hinges and binding solid, paper lightly yellowed. Without dust jacket.
