London - George G. Harrap and Company, 1914 Book. Hardcover. A uncommon, decorative history volume with original dustwrapper. Scarce in the dustwrapper. With plates throughout, the work focusses on several historical and mythological happenings in Britain's history. Contains a bookplate from Stimpson Avenue School, dated 1923. Condition: In decorative cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally smart, there is some minor wear and markings to the boards, as well as some shelfwear. The dustwrapper has significant loss, is chipped and in two detached pieces. Internally, the pages are firmly bound and are generally bright and clean throughout aside from some age-toning.
