London : Kegan Paul Trench Trubner & Co Ltd, 1891 A nice copy of Cooke's classic work on edible fungi and how to cook them - written from his own experience on identifying, cooking and eating mushrooms. In original green cloth binding which is in good condition, bar some sunning, pulling and a small dent to the spine. Complete with 12 fine colour printed plates. The contents are very clean and bright bar the endpapers which have some foxing (and an ink signature of Paul Richards) but slightly loose.
