London : William Tegg, 1872 A good to very good copy in the original decorative cloth binding with colour frontispiece and 7 further colour plates. All page edges gilted. The binding has light mottling to the edges of the boards and the spine is slightly faded. The spine ends have slight pulling and reinforcement has been added at some point. Original brown endpapers present. Contents are complete with 8 plates and illustrations in the text. The paper, including plate paper is toned and there are occasional small marks and spots. There is light spotting to the verso of the endpapers and the following page. Otherwise the contents are in very clean condition. A scarce work.
