New York: The Century Co., 1899. Copyright 1899 but more likely 1913. Fair to good condition with some wear. Pictorial hardcover, 10.25 inches tall. Covera age-browned and edgeworn with surface chips to the spine edges, hinges good, text block sound, a handful of closed tears and minor chips to margins (not affecting printed areas), pages clean with a few instances of finger soil to margins, no names or other markings.. Hard Cover. Fair. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall.

Still though, to be this clean and to boast such a bright, crisp dustjacket from roughly 100 years ago is uncommon indeed. Tight and VG+ to Near Fine in its laminate, pictorial boards (very mild darkening along the edges and light offsetting at the endpapers) in a remarkably well-preserved, Near Fine dustjacket. Quarto, nicely illustrated throughout by Palmer Cox.
