Synopsis
Larry McMurtry weaves a bittersweet ending of the "era of the Buffalo Gals" and recreates history in his story, Buffalo Girls. It is the late 1800s, and the famous figures of the Wild West are aging and depressed. Calamity Jane lives in a bordello in Miles City, and is mostly content to remember the excitements of the past, until the arrival of her old friend Buffalo Bill Cody spurs her on one more grand adventure.
