New York: William Sloane Associates, 1961. First edition, hardcover, 287 pages. With sixteen pages of b.& w. photographs. Pioneer days in Western Canada described by a pioneer and lyrical storyteller. A clean, tight VG copy with a previous owner's name at top corner of the half-title page. In a price-clipped VG dustjacket which has several short edge-tears, light edge-creasing, and a little rubbing along folds. There are also some small tape ghosts (brown dried-out tape adhesive remnant) on pastedowns and flap folds. A sound copy with the dustjacket in a protective clear mylar cover..
