About This Item

Brooklyn: Committee to Return Silvia Baraldini to Italy, [199-]. Two brochures, one six-panel, one eight-panel, both apparently dating to the mid-1990s; very good. The brochures, with identical titles but slightly different content, urge the transfer of Baraldini to Italy. She had been in prison since 1982 for her role driving a getaway car during the prison break of Assata Shakur. The campaign ultimately succeeded and she was moved to Italy in 1999.
