A rare account of travels in Colorado in 1878, with lengthy descriptions of Denver and trips to Leadville, Colorado Springs, the Garden of the Gods, Monument Park, Grey's Peak and more, travelling by rail, narrow-gauge, horse and foot.

The author, Rev. J.R. Fisher of the 2d Presbyterian church, Jersey City, N.J., presented an account of his travels before the Ladies Aid Society on March 18th and 27th, 1879, and published the lecture at their request. Scarce. Not in Howes, Graff, Eberstadt, Decker, or Streeter Sale
