London: Abelard-Schuman, 1966. First UK Edition, preceding all others. Basis for the 1967 Don Sharp film, "The Violent Enemy," starring Tom Bell, Susan Hampshire, and Ed Begley.

Very Good plus in a Very Good plus dust jacket. Slight lean, faint notation in manuscript ink on the front endpaper. Jacket front flap is clipped at one corner with American price intact, light toning to the spine, brief rubbing at the extremities.
