Included is the complete Canterbury Tales with all 36 full-color illustrations from William Russell Flint hand-mounted and protected by tissue paper overlays with captions. Marbled endpapers, gilt edges, and bound-in ribbons as page markers. Text and illustrations are unmarked and clean. Bindings are tight, sturdy, and square. Bottom back corner of fabric-covered slipcase is bumped but corners of books remain sharp. Books were stored together in the slipcase and became stuck together.
