The Measurement of Curved Surfaces in Particular is Clearly Explained, by means of Their Plans, Sections, and Elevations." 9" x 11.25" tall approx. 240pp + 22 full-page engraved plates. Prelims slightly browning and scattered minor spotting throughout. Otherwise internally very good and tight, in the original blind-ruled brown cloth-covered boards/gilt spine title. Rubs at corners and hd/tl spine and with a thumb-sized ink-stain to lower corner of back board and slightly affecting spine foot. Undated, but considered by COPAC [where only one copy of this edition has been identified as probably having been published in 1842. First Edition Thus?. Hard Cover. Good.
