Biography of a woman, born in Philadelphia in 1809, who married an Episcopal minister, bore 5 children, converted to Catholicism in the steps of her husband, and finally became a nun so that he could become a Catholic priest. At the time of the book's writing, Connelly was a candidate for beatification.
