New York: Lothrop, Lee & Shepard, 1955 This vintage first edition is bound in blue paper-covered boards, with a cover illustration by Clement Hurd showing the titular cat strolling past the Golden Gate Bridge. Spine is black with white lettering. Lower half of spine is chipped away, but otherwise wear is minimal; wear mostly at edges and corners, a small tear at the foredge of the title page. Inner pages are bright and clean, binding is holding tight. A charming story of a little cat who goes on an adventure in San Francisco. Approx. 28 pages (not numbered), 7"x9".. First Edition.
