Signature on front wrapper of Francois Joseph Audet (1867-1943) archivist and author, and Head of the Information Branch of the Public Archives of Canada. Original date of auction, "About 17th or 18th May next, if not previously sold "en bloc."" neatly crossed out and replaced with date stamp of, "On 28 May Next at 4:30 and 8 P.M." Priced throughout in pencil. Handwritten index card from Harry A. Clinch to Dr. Creighton loosely inserted. Wrappers slightly soiled with some chipping along spine and primarily at heel and lower rear corner, nicks to corners and fore-edge, otherwise a very good copy. Soft Cover. Good Plus.. Octavo.
