About This Item
Leiden: E. J. Brill. Fair with no dust jacket. 1865. First Edition. Paperback. 40 pp + 3 folding plates at the rear. With bookplate of MSHG Heerma Van Voss and some slips of paper with what appear to be his comparisons of hieratic to hieroglyphic. Original grey paper card wraps are worn around the edges with some chipping and curling, spine cover repaired with old brown paper. Interior paper is toned with some foxing throughout, corners curled and bent, some chipping at the edges. The repair to the spine has left a section of the gray card on the inside front cover. Folding plates have some splitting at the folds but generally fairly sound. A good-/fair+ copy with nice provenance. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 40 pages .
