The cover features Patrick Macnee, Gareth Hunt and Joanna Lumley from the television series. The New Avengers began a few years after the Honor Blackman - Diana Rigg - Linda Thorson Avengers, which ended in 1969. Starting in 1976 - and still with Patrick Macnee as John Steed - it survived 26 episodes, co-starring Joanna Lumley and Gareth Hunt. Peter Cushing, Smon Oates, August Schellenberg, Jack Duffy, and George Chuvalo were among the guest stars.. First Paperback Printing. Soft Cover. Very Good+. Television Edition.
