London: Cassell & Company, 1891. 3/4 leather. Very Good +. 9 1/4 x 11 inches. 838 numbered pages. Pages bright and clean, including the numerous illustrations called for. All page edges marbled. Bound in 3/4 brown highly polished leather and pebble grained light brown cloth which is lightly sunbleached. Covers rubbed and scuffed mostly at edges. Recased with renewed endpapers and original leather spine with red morocco spine label with gilt title and gilt decorations relaid. A very good copy of this monumental and heavily illustrated survey of English and Welsh churches.
