About This Item
Columbus, OH: Wexner Center Bookshop, n.d.. First printing. 17 x 24 inches. Lithographic poster from photograph by Kevin Fitzsimons. Very slight rumpling, and faint unevenness in printing of solid black background, but essentially fine.
One of several posters created for a sale at the shop of the Wexner Center (located on the OSU campus), which specializes in books by and about artists. In this clever image, copies from a series of twenty-six letter-titled books by Jan Voss are arranged to spell CECI N'EST PAS UN LIVRE ("this is not a book," a reference to the famed Magritte painting "Ceci n'est pas un pipe"), answered by the line "and this is not a poster."
