About This Item

Philadelphia: Thomas Hunter, Publisher, 1876. Hardcover. Wide small 8vo. Brick cloth over bevelled boards with gilt and black lettering and decorations. viii, (2pp), (ca. 200pp). Numerous tinted lithographs and floor plans, map. Very good. Tight and internally near fine, with only a bit of rubbing and mild binding edgewear, mainly along spine. Outstanding first edition of this handsome production, with all tinted lithographs as bold and bright as the day published. Exceptional and unrestored copy of a title usually found rebound or with issues and repairs.
