Publisher's green boards with front board and spine stamped in black. 46 authors; 58 stories of the Mystery and 1,024 pages. A VG+ (or better) copy in like D/W with a small chip from the bottom right hand corner of the front cover just affecting the lettering. The verso of the D/W is interesting as it has details of other Century Omnibus books in this series. The authors include: Eden Phillpotts, Talbot Baines Reed, Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, Alexandre Dumas, Sir Walter Scott, R L Stevenson, Capt Marryatt and Percy L Westerman, amongst many others. The English Catalogue of Books has this book being published in July 1937. Rare in D/W. Photographs/scans available upon request.
