Mary's family arrival was in the Hoffenthal district of Saskatchewan in 1889 with three other young couples (Busch, Burkhardt and Nerbas). She describes the Lowenberger family's heroic efforts to establish a farm on the Saskatchewan prairie, her marriage in 1914 to Henry Popp and the raising of their children. She outlived them all.
